Happy Holidays!

‘Tis the season indeed. All is quiet for the next week or so (at least as far as my posting is concerned), as I’ll be out of town.  After tonight, the Orange doesn’t play until the 29th, so I don’t expect much going down. It’s the kind of break where if something happens that’s newsworthy, it’s probably not good.

Moving on, I’ve jotted down a few holiday wishes as the team makes its way to conference play:

1. Arinze Onuaku – A healthy lower body – knees, ankles, the whole bit.

2. Mookie Jones – A sense of awareness in the presence of media and at least partial revoking of keyboard privileges.

3. Wes Johnson – More highlight-reel dunks and possibly some clutch theatrics in conference play.

4. Andy Rautins – A new cup. Don’t forget to tip your waitress!

5. Kris Joseph and Scoop Jardine – Continued improvement and stellar contributions for the most surprsing players on the team.

6. James Southerland, Dashonte Riley, Brandon Reese, Nick Resavy, Grifin Hoffmann, Matt Lyde-Cajuste, Matt Tomaszewski – A healthy dose of low-pressure mop-up time. Although there’s an outstanding recruiting class coming in 2010, I wouldn’t mind seeing Riley or Southerland turn a few heads in the limited meaningful playing time they’re given.

Thanks for making the CuseOrange community such an awesome place for everyone, whether you’re airing out your frustrations or basking with fellow fans in any of several SU wins. Stay safe and have a happy one!
